Amazon checks the CE mark! Will the seller face the risk of being banned?

Amazon is reportedly sending an email to sellers reminding them that under European Union regulations, certain products must have the CE mark, or they could be banned. The CE mark means that the product has been tested and meets all the requirements for safety, health protection and environmental protection within the scope of EU safety regulations. Such as toys, electronics or medical equipment. If the seller is not in Europe, an authorised representative must be appointed to fulfil the obligation.

Amazon cautions that sellers, whether or not they receive an email from Amazon, should check that all products for sale require the CE mark. Sellers who are manufacturers themselves should ensure that their products comply with relevant requirements and apply the CE mark, and if the seller is not a manufacturer, they should contact the manufacturer or an authorized representative to verify the situation. Selling products that do not meet the CE Mark requirements is not only a violation of Amazon’s platform requirements, but can also result in warnings and fines.
