If you go to European countries, you need to apply for a visa 5 months in advance. It is difficult and slow to get a visa from Europe.

Although Europe has already opened its visa system to China, visa centers across the country are fragmented, and the opening situation is uneven. Once there is a disturbance, they will suspend business or even close their doors, which makes people wonder.

Another culprit is “slow”. At present, the domestic exit demand is very strong, but the amount of visa application can not meet the demand, resulting in the speed of exit visa processing is greatly extended.

In fact, there are three reasons for the long queues in major visa centres:

1)Lack of manpower and space after the reopening: In the past three years, many visa centers have closed or changed their small offices, and their staff has been greatly reduced. It was difficult to cope with the sudden surge in workload, and visa centers had to accept visa applications in unlimited numbers, resulting in a “difficult to obtain” situation.

2)The processing capacity of foreign embassies and consulates is limited: there are long queues at visa centers, and foreign embassies and consulates are also overwhelmed. So even if the submission is successful, the process and the signing out also need to wait in line.

3)Visa centers in first-tier cities are overwhelmed: Most visa centers in second-tier cities are still closed, and applicants nationwide have to gather in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou to submit documents, which also reduces the processing capacity of visa centers.
