This new e -commerce platform is also collectively “occupied” by Chinese sellers!

According to reports, more than 50%of new sellers on the Wal -Mart e -commerce platform are from China. One year after Wal -Mart allowed international sellers to settle in the platform, the number of Chinese sellers in recent months has surpassed local American sellers. It is understood that Wal -Mart held a conference entitled “Cross -border New Expedition and New Opportunities for Wo Wo” in Shenzhen in March last March, announcing allowing Chinese sellers to settle in the platform. In the next month, only 6% of new sellers came from China. However, by the end of 2021, this proportion has risen to 20%, and it continues to increase in April this year to 40%. Of the recently added 1,000 new sellers, 51% came from China and only 46% came from the United States.

Since the platform was established, nearly 150,000 sellers have been settled. American sellers are still ten times that of China, but there are almost no other international sellers on the platform except Chinese sellers.
