Amazon has new moves! Develop AI shopping assistant .

According to reports, Amazon is seeking to use the function of artificial intelligence to improve customers’ search experience. In order to do this, Amazon will develop a chat robot, which will be integrated into the platform search engine and act as an expert. This project is called “Nile Project” within the company.

The goal of this artificial intelligence is to thoroughly understand each customer’s preferences in order to provide them with the best service and answers. Chat bots will provide personalized suggestions based on the information of multinational buyers, and display search results, expert answers and product suggestions. Shoppers will be able to use the chat function to receive recommendations, product comparisons and comments, and ask follow-up questions.

This is the first time that Amazon has promised to implement generative artificial intelligence in all its business areas. This project is led by Joseph Sirosh, vice president of Amazon. It was originally planned to officially launch Nilo in September, but its plan was affected. It is expected that it may be postponed to January in mobile applications in the United States, and then it will be extended to the Internet and other countries. The implementation of this project will mark the great progress of search engines in the e-commerce market.
