ChatGPT launches enterprise edition: unlimited access, double speed and 32,000 token.

According to reports, OpenAI announced that the enterprise-specific version of ChatGPT was officially launched. In early 2023, OpenAI announced in a blog post that they are developing an enterprise version of ChatGPT, which will provide unlimited access to GPT-4, extended context window, advanced data analysis function and customization options. ChatGPT Enterprise Edition will provide enterprises with all-round generative AI functions under the background of ensuring the data privacy and security of enterprises.

In addition to the current version suitable for large enterprises, OpenAI will soon launch self-service ChatGPT Business products for all kinds of small teams, serving organizations of all sizes and types. In other words, from today, OpenAI has sounded the horn of an all-round attack on the enterprise market.

However, at present, OpenAI also refuses to disclose the subscription price, and said that each company will receive a quotation customized according to its needs. “Companies interested in ChatGPT Enterprise Edition please contact us. Although we don’t disclose the price, it will depend on the usage and use cases of each company, “said OpenAI.

According to the company, since the launch of ChatGPT nine months ago, they have seen more than 80% teams of Fortune 500 companies adopt the product. Early adopters of ChatGPT Enterprise Edition (such as Block, Canva, Carlyle, Estee Lauder, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Zapier, etc.) are redefining their operation methods, and are using ChatGPT to create clearer communication, speed up tasks, and help with creative work.

Microsoft has done similar work in its AI chat bot application. It recently launched Bing Chat Enterprise Edition, which is also mainly for enterprises.

ChatGPT launched by OpenAI is free, and it didn’t start to profit from it until it cooperated with Microsoft. Later, OpenAI introduced a GPT-4 version with more advanced functions, but to use this version, you need to subscribe to Plus, and the fee is $20 a month. GPT-3.5 remains free.

According to the Information website, some financial data of OpenAI show that the company spent more than 540 million dollars to develop ChatGPT last year. According to foreign media reports, although the income has increased, it is still not enough to make up for the cost, and the new version is not the solution to the problem. Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, has privately hinted that OpenAI will strive to raise as much as $100 billion in the next few years to realize its goal of developing general artificial intelligence.
