According to Furniture Today, Klaussner Home Furnishings, a furniture company headquartered in North Carolina, stopped operating on August 7.
In an open letter, Klaussner said, “Without any warning, Klaussner’s loan source unexpectedly stopped funding the company’s operation. Due to these unexpected circumstances, Klaussner could not continue to operate. Therefore, the company made a difficult decision to stop operation permanently, and will completely close all its operating facilities from August 7, 2023. ”
According to many sources in the industry, the company defaulted on the payment of several major suppliers, which led to the suspension of supply.
After the notice was issued, Klaussner kept silent to the outside world, and the editors of Furnishtoday tried to contact Klaussner by phone and email, but they didn’t get a reply.
