In order to retain users, Shopee has made great efforts.
Recently, in order to make consumers enjoy a safer shopping environment, Shopee Malaysia Station has launched a new policy: if the goods purchased by consumers in Shopee Mall are confirmed as fakes, Shopee will provide a refund of up to 8 times the original purchase amount. This policy was implemented on July 15th, which is higher than the previous double refund.
This new compensation policy is part of the “Shop Safe with Shopee” program. Kenneth Soh, Marketing Director of Shopee Malaysia, said: “We have increased the money-back guarantee to eight times the original purchase amount, which shows our firm determination to the online shopping commitment of users with peace of mind.”
It is understood that “Shop Safe with Shopee” is a consumer protection plan, which aims to provide users with a safer and more reliable online shopping experience. Mr Ian Ho, vice president of Shopee, said: “the original intention of building the’ shopsafe with shopee’ program is to create a safe and reliable electronic market environment for users, so that buyers and sellers can trade with confidence.”
